The Bees have left the Hive

The Hive Magazine website has disappeared from the web, taking with it all the blog posts I’d contributed so far. I suspected that things weren’t right when no-one else was adding new entries but I never got around to finding out what was going on. Oh well, que cera cera and all that.

I’m going to try and find my original posts through google cache and add them here along with adding a new category specifically for the Manchester by Night street photography, which I’m going to continue to work on over the next few months.

So with these and all the other stuff I’ve yet to catch up on, there’s going to be an increased number of entries over the next couple of weeks. You lucky, lucky people you!

Manchester by Night

Just a quick annoucement - the first Manchester by Night entry went live on the Hive Magazine website on Sunday and will be posted on a weekly basis. I'm using the extra space available to display larger versions of my photos, which is nice.

You can find the first one on Moho Live
here and my profile here.

Ringing in the changes....

So another year is over and a new one beginning. So to start the year off, I've got a couple of announcements to make.

The first is that I'm going to be contributing a Manchester photoblog to Hive Magazine.
You can find the new blog here when it's up and running properly later this month. What this means for this blog is that there will be less Out and about in Manchester entries and more I made this and Travels with my camera for the forseeable future. I might also be moving the blog but that something off in the near future and after I've sorted out some technical stuff.

The second is that beginning January 12th, I will be exhibiting newly printed Colour of Light pieces at Body Positive North West in Whalley Range. The exhibition will be for 6 weeks, though the centre will only be open to the public on certain days. I will have more information on this nearer the time and will be posting photographs of the exhibition once it has been hung. I'm also waiting on confirmation on another venue as well.
