Inward Eye @ Bovine Sex Club
Yes, that actually is the name of the club though I can't say I observed any cow loving going on. Maybe they have a back-room for that.

Birthday Boys & My Shaky Jane @ The Horseshoe Tavern
Last venue of the Saturday was the "Legendary" Horseshoe Tavern (I'm not sure what it's Legendary for though here's why). We caught the last couple of songs of the Birthday Boys set, who play proper rock n' roll. Damn good stuff and I wish we'd caught a bit more of their act.
My Shaky Jane played next and last band of the evening and honestly, I can't remember much of anything about them.
Darlings of Chelsea @ El Mocambo
And now back to the NXNE photographs. Here's a few of Darlings of Chelsea who play not rock but RAWK. But by this point in the evening it wasn't what we were after, so we mosseyed on down the the street.

Provincial Parks & Burn Planetarium @ Rancho Relaxo
We then made our way onwards to Rancho Relaxo to see Provincial Parks and this is where I witnessed a toronto gig crowd up-close for the first time. I was bopping away quite happily, then turned round to see that only about 7 people in the audience were dancing along with everyone else stood still and looking a little glum.
Burn Planetarium were on next and they all looked far too young to playing in a band. They also celebrated their singer's birthday on stage with the whole crowd singing happy birthday, which was sweet.

Victoria Hume & Ali Milner @ Free Times Cafe
After escaping from Sneaky Dee's, we made our way to the Free Times Cafe and caught the last few songs of Victoria Hume's set. Which I glad we did as I really enjoyed Victoria's music, in quiet contrast to Aids Wolf's full on-assault.
We then hung around for the next act, Ali Milner. A very up-beat, happy-smiley 18 year who will probably go on to big thing's in the future.
