Upcoming Exhibitions and other news

Just a quick update to report that after a quiet year on the exhibitions front I have two upcoming. Firstly, my photograph of the Rawtenstall Tree won a Highly Commended in the Curiousities Celebrating Trees competition and will be exhibited around the region beginning in Bolton Museum, Art Gallery, and Aquarium from November 28th.

Secondly, I'll also have artwork up on the Contact Theatre's online gallery - EXHIBIT, thanks to Doodlebug Nuggets. The gallery will be live from Monday, December 5th.

Finally, a couple of my photographs of BlankMedia's Title Art Prize are now up on the BBC News website here as of last week.

cara b = side b Public Preview & Performance Event

Last Thursday saw the launch of cara b = side b at BlankSpace. A collaboration between BlankMedia and Untitled BCN, the evening featured three performance pieces, all set to music. Here's just a brief selection of photographs from the evening, with a great deal more over on flickr. The exhibition runs until the 17th if you fancy a look-see.

User Generated Content Exhibition Preview

Opening last night and running through to June 16th, User Generated Content is a collaborative exhibition between MadLab and BlankMedia Collective showcasing work about social media.

Eurocultured x Manchester: A group exhibition at BLANKSPACE

Today sees the start of the eighth annual two-day Eurocultured Festival along New Wakefield Street, off Oxford Road. To celebrate the event, BlankSpace are hosting Eurocultured X Manchester - featuring both brand new artwork and a retrospective of work created at past Eurocultured events. The exihibition runs until Friday June 3rd, closing with a charity art auction so get on down to BlankSpace quick if you want to see it.

BlankSpace opening night

Last Thursday saw the opening of BlankMedia Collective's BlankSpace with the launch of BlankExpression. The exhibition runs until February 13th so go along and have look yourselves a look at all the lovely artwork.

Just a quick notice - BlankWeekend is starting tonight and  I'll be exhibiting artwork as part of the events Blankmarket - Open All Hours. I won't say exactly where it's being displayed - you'll need to grab yourself a map and follow the trail to find out.
