Out and about in Manchester: New Islington Urban Folk Festival

I popped on over to the New Islington Festival a couple of weeks back. It's a strange event, designed to promote a development that's far from finished, as can be seen from the photographs below:
 

My main reason for popping along was to see the excellent Tim and Sam's Tim and Sam Band with Tim and Sam, who were playing in the late afternoon slot. I highly recomend purchasing their new Put Your Slippers On EP - on sale now for a measly Five pounds. And here's some photos of the group as well:
