Feeding Time

I spotted this scene whilst having lunch. The mother Sparrow had earlier been busy picking up discarded chips and taking them up on top of a stone wall. It was then I noticed her feeding her two little chicks (the second is just out of shot) and managed to grab this little sequence.

John Street Birds

I always love the moment when a new aspect of the city is revealed to me. After reading this post over on Skyliner, I realised I've walked up and down John Street countless times, but had never noticed the birds overhead. Just look at them all - aren't they beautiful?

Sat on a seat overlooking New Quay beach, I witnessed these little fellows helping themselves to some discarded chips, flying away with them before coming back for more.
