Out and About in Chorlton

I moved over to Chorlton a few weeks back, but it’s only recently that I’ve been to have a good explore around the place, sticking my nose into many and various places.

It was when I wandered down to Chorlton Green that I came across the following scene of a large group of people silently dancing.

After a quick enquiry to a fellow onlooker, it turns that this was an organised Silent Rave, with everyone having downloaded the same mix compilation onto their I Pod’s and MP3 player and had all turned up at the designated meeting point to dance around for half-an-hour. There was even a little face-painting stand.

I think I’m going to like it here…
