Last weekend found this years Beech Road Festival bathed in sunshine. And a lot of folk went along to enjoy it. A LOT of folk. Just look at them all!

Summer Solstice at The Horse & Jockey

The Horse and Jockey held its second annual summer solstice celebration on Tuesday night, with Illuminaughty / Foolish Rogues providing the entertainment. Unfortunately the mini Stonehenge was not to be, the hay bales set alight the night before but there was plenty of fantastic performances over the course of the evening, culminating in a 7 person choreographed fireshow just after sunset.

For the past few months, I've been attending hooping classes here in the Chorlton, learning the ways of the hula.
