Hi How Are You? Launch Night, Fuel Bar

Following from last Friday's post, here's the photographs from the Hi How Are You launch night. T'was a good night though as it was packed out in Fuel's upstairs room with almost zero space to move around, photography was a bit of a struggle. I've written a review for Guestlist which should be posted in the next few days.

Sparky Deathcap flyer drawing

I was at last night's launch party for Hi, How Are You? a new gig night from the fine folk of Mushaboom. I'll be getting the review and photographs for Guestlist sorted over the weekend but in the meantime here's a flyer I picked up there. Sparky Deathcap individualises all of his handouts by adding a little sketch and text to them. He also has a "daily" drawing blog at Tear Jerky.

The Mighty Ukulele Festival

Jeremy Warmsley B&W

The Mighty Ukulele Festival organised by Mushaboom! took place in Moho Live's Second room and while it was a lovely event and I really enjoyed the acts, I was thoroughly shattered by the end.

Here's my Guestlist review and you find a slideshow of my photographs below and a few appear on Mushaboom and Kathryn Edwards myspace pages. I spent a bit longer than normal on these, converting a fair few into B&W and I'm quite pleased with the results.

Mushaboom are starting a new night in Fuel called Hi. How Are You? on March 29th and I would well advise you to go along for fine music and some lovely cake. I'll be stood near the front with my camera in tow.
