The Megaphonic Thrift at Ruby Lounge

I didn't get to see much of The Megaphonic Thrift (Bloody Sunday night trams) but what I did hear sounded rather good. I also ended up taking far too many photographs as the strobing light made it difficult to focus my camera on the band and also to photograph them when the light was ever-so-briefly on.

Swimming at Ruby Lounge

I think it's fair to say that the gig was a bit on the quiet side, probably mostly due to it being a Sunday evening. So while everyone else in the venue were having a little sit down, I found myself the only person stood in front of the stage just as Swimming were about to play. They waved. I waved back. They said hello introduce themselves. Then ask me for my name. Which was nice of them.

Advances in Mathematics at Ruby Lounge

It's Advances in Mathematics photography time again, this time in a very quiet Ruby Lounge. They've put in a proper stage since the last time I was there just over a year ago, with apparently a very lovely carpet covering it (it was commented upon by two of the bands playing that night).

Blind Atlas @ The Ruby Lounge

I attended Lucy Wainwright Roche's gig last week in Ruby Lounge for Guestlist. My review's almost done (Weekends in London can be slightly distracting) and I'll be running photographs of the various bands over the week. First up, are Blind Atlas.

Lost and Found Xmas Party, December 5th, Ruby Lounge

There's a new review and photos by me up over Guestlist, this time of Lost and Found's Xmas Party at Ruby Lounge. Below are some additional photos of all of the bands. I'll probably post some more on flickr in due course.
