Wu Lyf at The Tunnel

And then there was Wu Lyf. It's a shame the night kinda ground to a stop as they'd been pretty damn good until the keyboard starting acting up. It was hard to tell exactly what the problem was though as I couldn't understand a single spoken word throughout their set. Actually, the same goes for the other bands as well.

Dirty Beaches at The Tunnel

Dirty Beaches was up next, playing lots of fuzzy guitar with a real retro 50's vibe - a lot more suited to a darkened basement venue than up on stage here. Can't blame the guy either for being pissed off when the roadies started moving Wu Lyf's kit onto the stage behind him.

Gwilym Gold at The Tunnel

Saturday night, I found myself on Great Bridgewater Street for Wu Lyf's tunnel gig. Opening the night was Gwilym Gold - I didn't get to hear much of his set, so can't really comment on his music but did manage to grab a few quick shots. More to follow shortly...
