Bone Chimera

Found in the South Australian Museum. I really like the combination of fish skull, long neck and crest - gives it a nice creepy look.

The South Australian Museum is fantastical treasure trove of all sorts of items, with the most interesting to be found in the Pacific Cultures Gallery, where a fair few of these photographs were taken. The Rundle Mall Pigs

You can find these cuddly statues along Rundle Mall in Adelaide. The pig in the first photograph is named Horatio and in the second is Oliver - there's a couple more dotted around as well. I just love the fact that there's bronze rubbish in the bin for Oliver to snuffle his way through.
