I've been doing a fair amount of drawing and painting of late, with this particularly crumbly piece a contribution to Dan Young's 1000 paintings project. Dan, who paints a picture a day and contributed to 365 Days of Cardboard Kid, will on August 19th reach 1000 daily paintings on his blog and he's trying to get 1000 people to contribute a celebratory piece of cake to this flickr group. Much appreciated, tis a gorgeous looking cake the shine where the light hits the top is v good us it a ginger cake or similar?
I think it's a ginger cake, though couldn't say for sure.
