User Generated Content Exhibition Preview

Opening last night and running through to June 16th, User Generated Content is a collaborative exhibition between MadLab and BlankMedia Collective showcasing work about social media.

Music Hack Day 2011

Saturday saw Music Hack Day 2011 take place at Manchester Digital Laboratory. The event involved much building of Drawdio's, Micro Stylophone's and Theremino's and in the fourth photo you can see a demonstration of a Tonoscope, a musical instrument which allows the human voice to produces complex symmetrical forms.

MadLab shutter outlining

I found myself on a very cold Monday evening outside MadLab as Barney Ibbotson and  Wini Tse outlined the new design for the shutters using a projector from across the road. The design - a collaboration between the two - will be spray painted over this weekend.
