KEMS Orchestra March Performance
Time for some photographs of the KEMS Orchestra in concert. This time they performed Schumann's Overture, Scherzo and Finale along with Grieg's Piano Concerto and Dvorak's Symphony No 5. Joining them as a soloist for the concerto was Adam Swayne, who performed the piece with flourish.

KEMS Concert Band at Macclesfield Methodist Church
Here's a few photographs of KEMS Concert Band performing at a charity concert in support of MHA at the Macclesfield Methodist Church. Their set was something of tribute to John Williams, featuring selections from Indiana Jones, The Terminal and ending with Star Wars Epic - Part 2.

KEMS Barnaby Concert
More KEMS photographs, this time performing as part of this years' Barnaby Festival at St Michael and All Angels' Church, Macclesfield. The concert featured the world premiere of June Unfolding by Chris Swithinbank (which will be played on Radio 3 sometime in near future) and the orchestra, concert band and choir all performing together for the first time.

KEMS in rehearsal
Photographs taken at the rehearsals of the King Edward Music Society (KEMS for short). I'm going to be taking a lot more photographs of the society over the coming months, documenting their performances. You can find more photographs from this session here on flickr.
