It's been an extremely busy week for me and as a result I haven't had much in the way of time to write about my recent trip to Gothenburg. So here's the first in a series of posts I have lined up, with the rest appearing sometime next week. Hopefully.

Manchester Christmas Lights Switch On 2011

Here's a few snaps taken during Thursday night's event. Last time I went back in 2008, I noted it was difficult to see the show onstage but the fireworks display at the end was spectacular - the same goes for this year's as well.

I've been a bit busy with other stuff lately, so I'm playing catch-up at the moment. Here's a few photographs from Manchester Christmas Lights Switch-on the other week. From where we were standing it was difficult to see the show onstage but the fireworks display at the end was spectacular.

Out and about in Manchester: Are you feeling Christmassy yet?

Yes, the Christmas lights are now up in Manchester. I saw them being put on Friday night actually, but none of the photos I took on the K800i were any good so I grabbed the above photo on Saturday.

I realise that Christmas isn't all that far away but it still feels too early for me for these to be up and on display.
