After missing out on seeing last year's Manchester Day Parade, I really wanted to be involved with this years event, and did so thanks to Global Grooves, documenting their Junk Jam. In the run up to the big day I spent an hour or so photographing folk busy preparing costumes and masks. You can few more of this sort of thing over on flickr.
