I've been a bit tardy with updating the blog, as I found myself easily distracted of late. Also my well-loved and well-battered Canon 350D gave up the ghost, dirty water having entered the case sometime ago and slowly corrupted the circuit boards.
So, now find myself with a shiny new camera and a lovely new zoom lens to play with, I’m attempting to get things back on track with a concerted effort on my part over the next few weeks to provide updates on a daily basis. I’ll hopefully even find time to provide some background and notes, though lets see if that happens.
To start things off, here are a few photographs of the KEMS Orchestra’s March concert in St Michael and All Angels Church, Macclesfield. They were taken from across the building with a 18-55mm lens, hence their rather distant look compared to the rehearsal photographs I took of the orchestra last year – something I plan on correcting next time I photograph the group in performance later this year.
